What a set is made of
A Sofhu majlis is built as upholstered units: a solid base that raises the seat to sofa height, a tall fixed back and arm bolsters that divide the run, finished with piping and trim. The cushions are filled with 32 DNS polyurethane foam, which weighs 32 kg per cubic metre. Density is not hardness. It measures how much material is in the cushion, and denser foam generally keeps its height and support longer. There are no springs, and on a custom order you can ask for a softer or firmer feel. Choosing fabric for hot, dry summers
Madrid’s summer heat is the main thing to plan for. A cover that breathes makes more difference than a fan.

Measuring a Madrid flat
In a city flat the usable wall is what counts. Measure at floor level, in centimetres, along each wall that will carry seating. Mark the balcony doors, radiators and any built-in cupboard. If the living room is long and narrow, a single row or two facing rows usually sit better than an L-shape. A square room takes an L-shape in the corner away from the door.
